Mine (when TB is fully clean), idles @ 600 RPM at idle at a light. It sometimes jumps back @ forth from 500-600. That is, if the car is fully warmed up.
Sounds just like my 86.

Lately, it seems to be a bit rough though which is something I've been wondering about. Only mods are straight pipes after the cats.
Same thing happened to me, it started getting a little jumpy at idle. What I did was disconnect the battery for like 10 minutes, reconnect and start and let it idle by itself without touching the pedal at all for 15 minutes. I turned it off, let it sit for 10 minutes, and restarted it and let it run for 10 minutes.

Now, I don't know if that was the proper procedure or not, or even if the times were way off, but I will tell you this...my idle is rock solid now, no jumps or nothing. It definitely helped my idle doing that little procedure.

My 84 idles at 1800-2000 when cold, then drops to 12-14, then when fully warm 700-800.

Mine idles at 900 when it's cold and then usually 700-800 once it warms up. (Thats out of gear.) In gear, it idles around 500-600
