I haven't priced any of the CC cams lately, but if price is an issue it's hard to beat the hot cam. It works wonders with the LT1 intake and has very good street manners. It does have a fairly healthy lift though which might not work with your heads so well. You could cut it down a bit if you used it with 1.5 rockers instead of the 1.6's it's rated at.

You can buy this cam all day for $180. It's 218/228 .525/.525 112, rated with 1.6 rockers.

bumpnzx3,

Here's MMS number. 520.792.1156. Speak to Denny Wycoff. Very knowledgeable guy. As an example, I am using a CC Hyd Roller with a 264/270d adv. duration and a 488/495 lift. LCA is 112d. With the heads I have and the infomation I provided regarding my objectives, his calc came out to be a 266/265 with a 108LCA. Denny believes this cam should be worth an additional 25-30lbft andbump my peak another 4-700rpm. At the least, its an education in understanding valve timing events. Let us know what he says. :seeya

bumpnzx3,

The 24psi injectors will support 380hp given 100% DC. The 30psi injectors will support 480hp. So it depends on what your objectives for the motor are and what you think the heads and cam will realistically support.
