Well as long as we're talking tint, thought I ask you all for some info...
35% is the max in Oregon, so the back is an easy choice.
However, as (most all of you know) sun is the exception and rain/clouds are the rule.
I am definitely going to do the side windows the only question is 35% or 50%.
So the question is how is side visibility, esp. at night, with 35% tint? Don't want to be losing large trucks on cloudy/dark days. Thoughts? Experience?
I've had every percentage tint on my side windows. 35% on the side...you'll have to look twice to realize the windows are tinted. It's VERY light. LIMO is on the whole car now :D Surprisingly, I can still see backing out of a dark driveway. I love the look of LIMO.:reddevil
If you're concerned about visibility, put the 35% on the rear as well. It'll be tinted lightly, but you won't lose any visibillity nor will it be difficult seeing at night backing up etc.
I have 20% on my sides. No problems seeing at night. Had 35% on my Camaro. No problems at all with that. 10% was a little too dark. Had that on my Mustang. You really had to watch out for curbs that would jump into the middle of the street with the 10% tint. :D

:withstupid: Limo all around...Im about to go to 20% sides and leave limo in the back. I have 35% on my Camaro and visibility is perfect
I'm in portland/Vancouver, so I understand your concerns. I have limo all around on my C4, and 30% on my Blazer, and don't have a problem with either in our weather.
Go dark, you'll never go back! Oh, wait... that's about something else
I believe I got like 5 % on the back (limo tint) and on the sides I asked the guy what was legal, he said 30-35%. I asked him what his van had and pointed to it. He said 20. I told him to make mine 20.
So, it's 20 on the sides and 5 on the back. I leave the tinted roof in , so it still allows a little light in. If I really wanted it dark, I'd put the painted roof in.

Re: Side Window Tint %-age (Hammer)
If you live somewhere hot and sunny or have a medical need or if it looks good on your car, go with the darth vader look. :reddevil If the car has dark wheels (like GS wheels) or it has some dark accent work already done to it like a lens blackout kit, or it is of a certain color that works with the "dark black bubble" effect, I'd say go for the darkest you think you can get away with in your area (some PD's carry meters in their cars to check on light transmission through the tint).
But some cars look better with the "dark grey" tint look over the "black" tint. I've been debating this for quite some time on my '88 and if I do go for it, I think I'd go with a lighter tint that you could just barely make out who's driving, only because I think the dark blue paint with the light colored ZR1 rims and the chrome emblems contrast perfectly with a dark grey tone on the windows. However if I lived in Arizona and I parked my daily driver Vette outside in a treeless parking lot all day at work, there's no doubt it'd be limo tint all the way around no matter what.
Mine is almost limo tint all the way around. That's how it came from the previous owner. I hate it because I can't see out at night. It looks cool during the day, but I sure hate it at night.
