C3 Guy Needing Help For C4 Friend
Not sure I have it exactly straight, but he says his automatic 84 "sways" in the rear when acelerating/changing gears.
I know this is kinda general, but he is not a computer guy and would like some ideas.

there are these tie rod end thingy in the rear... they do go bad.
also, check to be sure all bolts back there are TIGHT and that the bushings are all present and accounted for.

I agree. The trailing arm bushings or the "tie rod thingy's" . There isn't alot more that can do it. Alignment could be off, but that will show up all the time, not just under throttle. Good luck.
