Should I have any trouble out of my 1.6rr on my 93 lt1? I just had them installed and havent driven the car. because I didn't have enough time tonight. So I was wondering if I might have to worry about anything. :steering:

Did they change the springs when they installed them? If so then you should be fine. If not you should seriously consider replacing them. LT1 springs don't have a very large margin of safety built in. When you increase the lift by going with the higher ratio rocker you are increasing the stress on the springs and getting uncomfortably close to coil bind.
There are a few people running around with 1.6 rockers on stock springs but by almost all accounts it's not a wise thing to do. It's not a matter of if they will break something but rather when.
I have an 85 also, and am considering the 1.6 rr install. The 1.7 may require more modification to the valve cover - I'd bet 1.6 would be just fine. :seeya
