For some reason, I don't think so. Isn't the auto trans in the 96s controlled through the computer as well? I've got a dyno session scheduled for this Saturday and I thought I remember reading on the Forum that disconnecting the TV cable before a dyno run can sometimes screw up the trans. Of course, if I don't have one to disconnect......
Thanks!
:mad Grrr...can't make it. I will have to remember that place. Maybe one day, I will get down there and see how mine does. It is running a lot better since I replaced the plugs and wires on the driver side on Saturday. Now, I need to figure out how to replace the coil wire.... :smash: That looks like the worst wire to replace!!
Too bad. Well, good luck with that coil wire. I STILL haven't used your tip on cleaning out the front of the radiator. I bought the Gunk but then discovered how unreliable the analog coolant temp guage is - the digital was registering 205 while the analog was reading about 240 - so it turns out I didn't have a potential overheating problem, after all. Stiil, I hope to get that done before Saturday... :seeya
