thanks for the help
You can get a starter cellinoid bypass switch (like $10 I believe) which will let you test your lines down to your starter, just clips on and allows you to start the car for testing.
You can pop the starter out pretty quick, 30 mins or so.

If you have a nippon type starter you're in luck. You can check by going to
http://www.autowhiz.com and inputting your corvette info. to get the starter model number and KW size.
Then go to starters and see if you have a Japanese starter. I know this sounds weird, but it's true. Chevy did this on the Vettes from 1992 on.
Next go to http://www.sleeoffroad.com/technical...er_rebuild.htm
You will note that there is either a 1.4 KW or 2.0 KW starter in our Corvettes. You will get the size from the previous web site.
Go to a Toyota Dealer and order the parts...positive and negative starter contact rebuild kit....price about $27.
You can also go to http://yotarepair.com/startercontacts.html (don't put in www or it won't work) to see pictures of the very simple repair. Don't use the part numbers on this page, use the ones on the sleeoffroad site only and don't let the dealer sell you anything but those part numbers...trust me.
Average time removing and installing the starter is about 1 hour + 1/2 hour to replace the parts....not bad when you consider a rebuilt starter is over $150.

1st check your batt. Need alot of watts to run that system.
2nd check your starter.
You haven't been having any trouble up to now. Soooooooooo.
