well i have been trying to get my 94 up to speed. it has been a long hard road, but finally i was able to see light at the end of the tunnel. after many hours of tuning i couldn't seem to get the topend right, always a flat spot. this combination of 406 and 18psi paxton was supposed to be quick. finally realising the injectors i was sent were only 30lb hr. wow that is a long way from 58lbs. once that was fixed the opti started giving me a low res code. so back the opti goes to advance auto(lifetime warr) back in business. figured i would give her a run.so i went all the way to the end of my street(no houses for about 1/2 mile). stomped it, my neighbor said it lifted one wheel about 1 inch off the ground. i was happy as could be.....then all of a sudden BOOM. lost all power. no knock, oil pressure was good wtf?. try a restart ,,nothing. i am thinking doooooh. my wife would kill me if i have to spend 1 more dime on this car. so we tow it to the drive way , open the hood to see the damage. the s/c belt had broken taking out the other serp belt, wrapping around the crank pulley and demolishing the new opti and cap. WILL IT EVER END? just had to vent.. :banghead:

I broke my serp belt once. Well it didn't really break, it just kinda came apart and left a tail flapping around. Unfortunately the tail flapping around took a chip of paint off the bottom of the hood and spider cracked the top of the hood :mad :mad I'd rather it have taken out the opti.
Of course when it happened I had the car maybe a month, I just pulled out of a parking lot and nailed it. I slammed second gear hard, and that's the instant the belt broke. Scared the hell out of me, I thought I had broke something serious. I limped it into a parking lot and raised the hood, at the time I'm not sure what I would have been looking for. There was nothing obviously wrong, so I started it up again, with the hood up I could see the tail of the belt whipping around and slapping my A/C lines.
