I plan on building a stroker 383 for my '88 Vette but i need some guidance. I plan on building the bottom end up w/ the stock block, using the stock aluminum heads, but port & polishing them, matching the intake ports to the heads. Now, I have no clue what cam to run, should I change the intake to the Stealth Ram, and should I go true daul exhaust. If their is anything else I should be paying attention to what is it. Any feedback is appreciated.

You can keep the stock type exhaust, but with longtube headers and new Y. Duals will probably make the best HP possible though. Just how much of a difference there is, i'm not sure, but its not an overwhelming amount.
You should change the intake, what you change it to is up to you. Superram, miniram, Stealthram.
I would probably go with a cam with about 220 duration @050" at least for a 383 with a different intake. But I'm not sure exactly what goes well with the Stealth, probably any cam with a strong midrange and top end.
The very best advice I can give you is to call Frank Townsend. He's a pro race engine builder, he know's more about hot-rod engines than anyone I've ever met. He's been doing this for over 45 years and loves to spread the knowledge. 520-623-2335. Mention my name (eddie salinas), he'll be more than happy to kick around your options.
