ECM and Error Code 51 Or Something Else????????? Help
It all started with Code 51 - replaced with stock GM EPROM #16070729 (RPo GM1 (2.59 rear) & AT. Ran fine for a while, Code 51 again (died but restarted), so per forum, replaced ECM, then tonight
Temp 218 and "Service Engine Lite" comes on, Idle (in gear drops to 4k) put in neurtal (still running) continue thru traffic, come to stop, and it dies (Engine Lite & Battery display), Put in park, car restarts (Both lites flicker a couple of time then go away), runs fine, park and restart about an hour later to drive home, not a problem.
Get back to check codes, no errors, just std 12,12,12 - 12,12,12...
So what to check from here? Help appreciated.....

To clarify: this is a repeated problem, "Car Dies" - I have just supplied the listing of incidents up to this date. Only difference really is that when the Error Codes were checked, 51 (Bad EPROM) did not come up... other than that, its still intermittent but there... Now was out today for a while, and nothing,,, so knock on wood maybe it corrected itself...
But I'm going to have ski dwn it program a chip for me anyway....
