The 210's only come in std angle plug (not the L98 angle). Niether LPE nor AFR know if the LPE headers will work, but i remember someone telling me they wouldn't.....so if anyone is, i'd like to know.
Re: Anyone using LPE headers with AFR 210s (ralph)
You ordering some of those Ralph?
Bare or assembled?
I only wish AFR would make the design change of the outer edge/trough/lip to be more deeper and the oil return holes at a lower location.
Re: Anyone using LPE headers with AFR 210s (89 Paul in Cal)
I considering the 210s, but i dont want to have to change my entire exhaust system to do it.
Paul, do you know if the exhaust port would work with a 1 5/8 tude header or are they too big? If i have to buy new 1 3/4 headers, it starts a chain reaction that pretty much wipes out my exhaust.
Re: Anyone using LPE headers with AFR 210s (ralph)
It's close but I think so:
Not all the ports are exactly the same. Some a hair or two smaller, some bigger.
And I use this wonderful copper gasket from SCE part # 4211 that is just a a hair or two slightly smaller. You could port match if very careful.
*Note tho how I had to sandwich in a regular gasket I port matched to seal up a nagging leak (using hooker 2149's)
I searched most of the gaskets for this port and the 4211 was the closest dimensions I could find.
AFR gonna take their sweet time on those to you. Don't get their assembled. Get your own trusted components and have a good head guy check seats and assemble for you. Teflon seals are nice.

Wow, ask a question and get a picture of the answer...thanks paul.
Do you still have them off? Could you get a picture or the dimension from top to bootom of the port and diagonal if possible? I'm thinking the 1 5/8 headers would be a little small...Hmmmm
