I was planing on geting a SR have had the lower installed for a couple of months now and wanted to get the upper soon. But now I dont know mabey I should go with the MR
I have been a believer all along that the MR would get Dave's (Hookedup) car down the track quicker. The result were NOT a surprise. Sometimes those SIM's are misleading. I would even stick my neck out and say that the split duration ZZ9 cam would work better than the 219.
I will not spill the beans, because Dave has not posted the results yet. As you will see he is making more HP. This was without a cam ,gear or convertor change.
The price of my MR just went up a $100.
What do you want for Xmas?

:iagree: :iagree: When I read what he was going to do I expected it to turn out this way. All the bashing of the MR is from either someone that has never drove one or they have a 350 with mild cam and a auto without a stall converter. A car like that needs the added torque that the mild cam and SR will give but with a 400+ engine needs air if you replace the 219 cam with a more aggressive cam you will run faster yet. I also think your chip is now wrong you are putting more air into the engine and with the old tune so you still have not seen the true gains to be gained from the SR to MR switch.
