Well, I decided to take the car down to Dyno it on a Dynojet, the tune is still not right but winter is coming. As soon as theForum home pages are squared away I will upload the Dyno graphs. Unless someone else wants to do it sooner.
My plan was to build a streetable "mild" 406 without the use of a solid roller cam and the Dyno proves the numbers to be respectable for a mild 406, I think. I believe that tuning will yield @ 20 or more HP but I will have to wait and see.
RJ and I will tune some more tomorrow and I may go out to Muncie Raceway Wedensday night for some 1/4 mile runs.
Run # 1 367.2 RWHP / 339.7 RWTQ
Run #2 361.5 RWHP / 345.4 RWTQ
Run #3 325.0 RWHP / 374.9 RWTQ
HP peaked at 5800
TQ peaked at 4500
The (AFR) air fuel ratios dropped on Run 1 & 2 to a low of 10 thruought the run.
On run #3 the AF stayed at 14.0 up to 15.5
All in all the numbers were lower than I expected but not bad coming form the factory 350 TPI, with 230 HP and 330TQ.
I will post the graphs when the web pages on the forum are accessible.
Hey Id85,
I guess you finished a little earlier then me  ANyway do you have any specs on your 406? Compression, heads, intake and exhaust would be some pretty good input so I can kinda guesstimate how much power mine would make. :yesnod: NIce Numbers, maybe you can add some Gas or a blower to it later on? :D

Well we are still tuning on this thing which has been really frustrating. I was a little dissapointed in the results to be
I think I may be making a head change tothe AFR-210's to try to pick up, from what I am told, another 25-50HP.
Damn, I have a power suckin Th400 and I think I have 180cc runners with only 8.5 to 1 compression. I plan on throwing a SC on it or maybe build a Twin Turbo or just one Turbo setup. Anyway have you driven it around yet? How is the throttle response? Does it loose traction easily? What kind of power was your car making before the 406?
