C4 / C5 brake caliper conversion.......
I have a set of C5 (99) calipers that a friend would like to put on his C4 (87).
Who has done this???
What is required to put C5 front calipers on an early (86-87) C4??
Can the rears be swapped also??
Is there a "kit".

The rears can be swapped but you will have to fab the parking brake and find some adapter brackets. It's really not worth the effort in my opinin, the c4 rears are just as good as the c5 and the parking brake is an incredible PITA to convert.
The only kits I know of include calipers and all.

Have your friend spend a little time researching and he/she will have all their questions answered :D
Yes it can be done, there is no reason to change the rear brakes to C5 and you loose emergency brake, yes their are kits.
Like I said, let your friend use your computer and do a little research for the best answers
