'89 HEADLIGHTS STICK!!
My '89 coupe has now gotten to the point where I can't get the driver's headlight to come up fully unless I turn it on and off about six times. If I touch it when it sticks, it drops down and doesn't go any further unless I shut them off and turn them on again.I hear the motor spin but it still doesn't open.
Anybody have this problem and know a solution. Is it gearing??

You need the 3 little bushings that cost around 5 dollars from the corvette magazines. Do both headlights while your at it as the other one will go soon. Easy repair. My 89 and 92 both did it.

I had the same syptom on my passenger headlight. I bought the bushings from Eckler and all is well. If took me 2 hours on the first light, 45 minutes on the second. Do a search and read up on the topic in the C4 tech tip section. That's where I picked up the instructions on my headlight mod. You may even pick up a couple tenths or two down the 1/4 mile. :p:
