Default Cluster Lights

Where can I find some replacement bulbs for my 88 cluster. I have read that 891's draw to much current and will damage the printed wiring board. Driving at night is no fun...

Thanks,

They are bulb #882, walmart or Napa should have them. Might have to order them through Napa, as they don't stock many of them at one time. I'm not aware of any bulbs that you can swap for part #882.

I posted this same topic just last week. I had a very hard time finding ANYONE who stocks these. They are 882's, 12v and something like 4 watt. They are also about $10 each. I did find that for a temporary or even permanent fix you can install the whole little "socket" (the little pastic 1/4 twist thingy) and incandescent bulb from a 90 Camaro cluster and it will fit and work fine. They are alot cheaper and seemed to have comparable brightness. I did not however compare them in direct sunlight.

I found a NAPA store near me that had the 882 bulb and socket for $7. Dealer wanted $22 for the same thing. Try this link
