whats the difference between dyno manufacturers??
I always hear about Dynojet Dynos #'s, Mustang Dyno Numbers and now a new one.. eddy current dyno numbers.. could someone please xplain to me the difference between them? what are the ups and downs of each type.. is there a prefered brand? if so why?

I look at the use of a dyno a little different then for bragging rights. A dyno can be used for tuning purposes and as long as you utilize the same dyno - you can optimize your engines power.
Although, there is definately a difference between dynojet and Mustang dynos based on how they determine the HP. (I don't pretend to know the difference) The dynojet normally gives 10% higher HP than the Mustang.
