Car has been sitting a little over a month already ... I didn't intend on it taking this long to install headers, but my health, going out ot fown and all kinds of things keep putting it off. So, should I put fuel stabilizer in? I don't see it being completed for about 3-4 more weeks :(. I have mono, so I can't work on it much - have to be careful with my spleen :leaving:

Are you seriously joking me? My vette has sat for nearly 9 months! (I know it's set without being STARTED for at least 2 months.) You'll be FINE Curtis. Good luck with the mono too.

Us guys up here around Buffalo use it; I just put my Winters shots in today. Drove it for an hour or so to mix it up good, and to get the mix into my injectors...
I still start and run it at least once a month (for the 6 months of Winter we get), and drive it on clear dry days. I also charge the battery once a month, for at least 8 hours.
Gasoline is designed to be used within 6 weeks of refining. After that, it starts to degrade. If your gas is already "old", stabilizer may not help. Best to put in stabilizer when filling up.
