For some reason one of the screws on the side of the housing made its way out and now one headlight wont swivel into place, how do you get them to turn by hand or turn enough where i can get a screwdriver on it.
This happened once before a couple years ago, the screw on the other headlight backed out and decided to take a chip out of the hood, and i cant remember how i fixed it.
Can i put something on the screw threads so this sumbitch never backs out again? like the kiss of death?

Re: How do you get the headlight to turn manually? (Spankyellow)
Unplug the motor first. Very important...snip...
I have never heard that! But?
As to something to keep it tight, try a little blue loctitie. I have also successfully used the white teflon tape for pipe fittings...that works well on rearview mirror screws, I forget how long the headlight screw is that you sre referring to.
Maybe above poster is suggesting you return the headlight to it's full position where it was before you used the manual ****, before you try to operate electrically. I'm not sure that is necessary either, but might be a good idea
Re: How do you get the headlight to turn manually? (Spankyellow)
I unplugged it, but i see no **** to turn anywhere? It will budge when i try to move it by hand but only in the normal motion.
I need to rotate it the OTHER way, opposite to the way it usually spins. The screw is coming out at the rear of the light and is out far enough that it wont let the light rotate around.
