FX3 actuator combatibility
Hi,
I seem to have problems with search feature and I cannot get any hits no matter which words I try.

So I have to ask a question which might be answered in archives, sorry about that.
Are FX3 shock actuators really compatible within years 89-95?
I thought early ones up to -91 had some differences.
Can any actuator from any year be used in any corner of the car, what I read before was only difference between front and rear was the length of the wire.

The only difference between the actuators is the length of the wire. You can use an actuator from a 89 on a 94 or vice versa.

I have replaced my actuators on my 94 using all rears as I could not get fronts. The wiring is very easy tio extend but you can get adaptors from any Bilstein outlet that convert the short leads to long ones.
