Has anyone tried the Brute Force line of rotors by Raybestos? I am gathering the necessary parts for a C5 front brake conversion and would like to put something nice on in the way of rotors. I found the front C5 Brute Force Rotors for $47.16 each and the rear C4 Brute Force Rotors for $91.45 each. They are cross drilled and slotted. I am going to go with the AC Delco Durastop Ceramic pads for the front. Thanks for any input.

Re: Raybestos Rotors? (Whitvette)
I've been following a few of your threads. You say you are looking for a aftermarket hi po rotor...... what are you doing considering raybestos?
Unless they are made by baer or brembo and sometimes KVR I would stay away from cross drilled. Slotted will be fine.
A properly functioning brake system is a very critical part to your car, and your well being. This is one place that cheapest is not always the best route to go on a Corvette
I agree with the above commente about cross-dirlling.
Regarding Raybestos rotors, I have good experience, but on a '00 Malibu, not a 'Vette. The dealer replaced the rotors 4 times (under warranty) with GM stock pieces, but within a few hundred miles they would warp again. I finally gave up and stopped complaining. I put the Raybestos on after the warranty expired and have had no problems whatsoever.
