I just cant seem to win, anyway today while cleaning up the motor a bit the vacume line between the opti and aircleaner got pinched and caused the motor to stall. I know that if the vacume tube going to the air cleaner gets obstructed it can cause dammage to the opti. My question is how and how long does it take?? After the motor stalled I found the pinched line and corectedthe problem and he motor started right up and seems to run fine. Should I go ahead and pull the cap and check for dammage or is this a common item and as long as the motor runs it will be fine?? Any help from someone who has had this happen would realy help.
But, why would it cause a problem if you found it in a few days time? I can't think it would even begin to bother it at all in that amount of time. The hose is to remove moisture from the Opti. Don't sweat it and enjoy the car.
