I'm running Asplaugh headers on the ZR-1 with 2" primaries, 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust system and no cats. No loss at low end at all. The most gain however was mid-range through top end 3000 rpm to 7200 rpm running 3:45 to 1 stock gears. Running straight through the headers with no exhaust system behind, the car ran like crap. Well, i have lost some torque, but that's because of my exhaust leak. Once i get that fixed I assume it will feel much better. I'm going to dyno it with the shorties on before i end up going with long tubes and a new cam in the next year. :cool:
