Default Quick Intake Question

Need to know if a 90 L98 intake manifold will fit an 85? I thought I remember something about the 85 being weird because of ERG ports or something. Want to check before I commit to getting a ported intake from another forum member.
Also what do you think the gains might be, 5-10hp?

If memory serves, in 86 Chevy changed several things:
One piece rear crank seal
Revised intake manifold bolt angles
among others.

So not sure that a 90 manifold would bolt up to the 85 without work.

Anybody got a better memory?

90 did not have a 9th injector which did cut one of the pre drilled holes on the front of the mainfold for the temp sensor to work it. You can get by without this depending on where you live. It would also so mean you have to block the fuel rail.
2: the two center bolts for the base are at different angles. This can be made to fit, but it depends on your skills.

3: EGR was different
this is just the base part, the plen. and TB are also different.
