Default need help with tire sizes

whats the widest tires I can fit under my 85 (non-Z51)? I want at least 275's all around as opposed to my 255's, but would 315's fit in back? And I'm gonna have to stay in the 50's series, huh?

If you're staying with 16" wheels, you won't find anything wider than a P265/50R16, and only BFG makes the Radial T/A in that size and it's far from a real perfromance tire.
You mentioned staying with a 50 series, you are aware that 50 is the height of the sidewall and not a reference to width?
If you are moving up to 17" wheels, the P275/40R17 should be fine and maybe a P285/40ZR17, it really depends on the offset of the wheels and how far they put the tire inside/outside of where the stock location is.
You're stock sized P255/50ZR16 is a 26.1 Overall Diameter tire. A P285/40ZR17 is a 26.0, so the speedo will be on the money. If you go with the P275/40R17, the OD is 25.7, so still close enough to not throw anything off by much.
E-mail me if you have any further questions and I'll be glad to help!

If you go with a ZR1 35mm offset you can run a 17x11 with a 315.

If you went with the 17x11 rim, you could possibly go with 335s, theyll stick out some though.

315 should fit well.
