Fuel Pressure Gauge
1988 Corvette
I have a cylinder compression gauge. Does it work for checking the fuel pressure? Does the auto parts sell the connection from the comppression gauge to the fuel rail valve?
If it doesn't work, where can I buy one so I can start checking my AFPR.

No - insuffient resolution.

A fuel pressure gauge will not check air/fuel ratio. But Auto Barn has then for under $30.

I understand that, I just need a pressure gauge to check the base fuel pressure with the OEM FPR before I install the AFPR. This way I know how many PSI I should start out with...
Would the part spell out fuel pressure gauge at the part store?

:cheers: A fuel pressure guage is just that! Autozone has them for under $ 40 and they will say FUEL PRESSURE

The ones from Sears should have the "button" style pressure relief valve. This will help if doing a fuel flow test.
Around $40.
I believe Actron makes em.
