Alright, in my previous thread I was screwing with the TPS, but since I had it in diagnostic mode, I figured I may as well see what codes show up. Got my initial code 12, so everything is cool, then I got these and I don't know what any of them mean: 22,32,34,42,43,44,54
When I check the codes, is that the same as clearing them, or what else do I need to do to clear my code history? Cause I haven't touched that port in forever, and my SES light loves to keep my company at random.
I apprecitate the codes, I'll follow scorp's idea right after lunch today. Then I'll pull the codes again, I know there will be some, and see what I got then. Thanks guys!

Re: I got a pile of engine codes... (96GS#007)
I agree with 96GS#007. It is probably due to a bad ground or an ECM/PCM going bad. I'd follow scorp's advice and see what comes back after clearing the codes. If you continue to see muliple non-related codes, check all main grounds and all wiring going to the ECM. Also check the voltage level output of the alternator.
I had a similar problem with multiple non-related codes and replacing the ECM with a NAPA rebuilt unit $117 resolved the problem.
How do I check my ground? Where is it at, and whats the best way to get to it? And also equally important, if its all corroded or frayed, whats the best way to fix it?
Given so many different sensors are affected (did all these codes just show up at once?), it's probably a bad ground.
I doubt they all showed up at once. He just asked how to clear code. This could be a 10 year history. Although he doesn't say how old the car is. Some of these codes could have been set while doing replacements or adjustments.
