Auto Trans Shift Indicator Arrow
WhenI purchased my 86 had several things that needed work. Started by cleaning up the dash, which went well, it was in good shape basically. Looked at the Shift Indicator Arrow and it was all bleached out and the plate behind it looked bad. Took the bezel off and got down to the arrow and shift lens. Thought about buying a new indicator arrow, but decided to try to fix it up. Do a little modeling so went in and found a bottle of Fluorescent Red modeler paint and painted the arrow, it's the same color its originally painted, looks brand new. Painted the black backer plate with Satin Black looking good. Now if I could figure out something for the paint flaking on the gear indicators on the lens I'd be up tight. Save some money and have a nice looking dash.
