Loud Noise coming from rear under load......
Lately I have been getting a loud rattling sound when I floor it which seems to be coming from behind the drivers seat area in the rear of the car. It is a repetitve tapping sound sounds almost like metal hitting metal. Could this be a wheel bearing?? Could somebody help me find out where to start on finding this noise....

I had a ticking sound who's frequency increased with speed due to bad U-joints in a half-shaft.
Pull the rear wheels and rotate the rotors to see if the U-joints are bad.

Well when I rotated my left rotor I could see that the half-shaft was rotating slightly but the inner U-joint shaft into the D-36 was not. This told me that the inner U-joint wear was excessive.
So, I had both U-joints on that half-shaft replaced.
