Does this sound like oversized injectors?
Trouble cold starting and idling after battery disconnect, I suspect because it resets the fuel trims. Quick carbon build-up on inside of my new front Y pipe. Gas milage meter reads WAY high. Bad fuel smell.
I thought it may have been a leaky injector but the Y-pipe is equally blackened on both sides so it would have to be two leaky injectors if that's the case.
Is there any way to identify injectors without remooving them?
How big a project is it to replace them? It looks pretty bad from the book but I'd like to hear from somebody who's done it. Especially if there are any tricks to make it easier.
Oh yea it's L98

There's a procedure to show if it's going into closed loop, using the ALDL.
I don't know of a way to tell the injector size without flowing it.
