First, you have to know which angle, your angle plug heads are. AFR has their own proprietary angle. AND they make heads with the L98 angle. If they are the L98 angle, any L98 header should fit. If they are the AFR angle you will have to check with the header mfg, to see if they fit the AFR angle. Hooker 2149s and 2151s do NOT fit the AFR angle, but they DO fit the L98 angle. I have AFR angle plug heads set up by TPIS. I have TPIS long tube, 1.75"Ø, headers on my 1985. They work, that is not to say that they fit without some modifications, but nothing that someone with reasonable mechanical skills can't handle. Performance was worth the work to get the headers to fit. Modifications included dimpling the No. 7 tube near the head to clear the No. 7 plug, filing the bolt holes on the flange for the No. 1 tube, and having the muffler shop modify the y-pipe to get the exhaust centered under the car. Maybe other brands of headers fit with less modification, you'll have to see what others post.
