Bleeder Screws for '93. Front and back the same?
So does anybody know if the bleed screws are different front and back? I'd like to replace them all as I'll be doing another complete flush of the system.
Thanks,
Michael.
consider Russell speed bleeders for quick, easy bleeding .... they're not that expensive
tuband, how well do the speed bleeders work? I will rarely be bleeding the system, so they are going to sit unused for a long period of time...any problems with leaking? I was looking at them on the website; they do look pretty cool. Can the stock bleed screw cap fit over them, or do they come with their own cap?
1) Open speed bleeder one at a time in the sequence specified in your manual
2) connect a short length of clear plastic tubing from the speed bleeder to a clear jar to collect the fluid
3) pump the brake several cycles to bleed the fluid thoroughly through the lines that you're working on. be sure to keep the master cylinder topped up so that you don't suck any air into the system
the speed bleeder has a check valve built in so that you won't suck air when you release the brake pedal.
I usually go around 2 times for a thorough flushing. I also change fluid before going to the track and depending on how much track time, I will change the fluid again. Speed bleeders allow me to completely flush the system in 10-15 minutes .... maybe less.
I've had to leakage problems. Yes, the speed bleeders come with covers, but I reused the OEM covers.
