Are you talking about the Edelbrock/Weber EFI set up like this one?
I think the part number was 3500, maybe 3600 was polished??
If so, I don't think it'l fit under the hood of your '84, especially with all that ram air ducting under that hood.....

As Frosty knows, the ducting in the hood on the '84 is off to the sides. The '84 hood has the same center clearence as all C4s. I suspect it would fit. I'm sure Edlebrock started out with a carb manifold. The question is, how tall. Most manifolds in the Edlebrock catalog have height specs. I don't have a book, but if someone can get the height of the manifold from the cat, I can measure a spare Crossfire manifold for comparison. I'm going to watch, and see if we can't get a report from someone who actually done it. Good luck, and...

In this pic I had my original idea which was an Edelbrock performer RPM intake with 750 cfm edelbrock 4 barrel. I changed direction and decided on the 3500 instead. The 3500 is not much lower, if any...........
Tha catelog isn't much help, it says the 3500 is 1-5/16 taller then stock. I doubt they had an '84 vette in mind when they referred to "stock".
Maybe we'll get lucky and hear from someone that has REALLY done it ! ! !

EDIT: $500 for that hood, wow. If it had been for sale when I started working mine, I would have bought it in a heart beat.................
