Does the LT4 use a diffrent spark plug then the LT1?
I'm wondering since the LT4 has 10.8:1 compression and the LT1 of the same year has 10.4:1 compression do they use diffrent spark plugs?

I have a 1996 LT4 Coupe, I changed the plugs at 30,000 miles and found that the small disc on the ground was burned off or fell off on 3 out of 8 plugs. I priced new GM platinum plugs and after several LT4 owners suggested that I try the new Bosh Platinum Plus four#4458 and they do not have the disc on the ground that bends around the top of the electrode.I am really happy with them and they have a better spark pattern (no metal on top of the platinum electrode) I pulled them after 10,000 miles and still look great. I really did feel a difference when I installed them.
