will timming gears work with l98?
I was given a free set of small block timing gears (new) They are "quite" gears. My question is will the gears set off the knock sensors? 1991 L98.

Every catalog I've ever seen says that they will. Hopefully someone here has tried it and can verify whether they do or not.
