Oil Temperature Switch Leak
Help......
I can't seem to stop the leak around the Oil Temp Switch. I've tried teflon tape, RTV, a new switch, etc.:banghead:
Any ideas on how to stop this annoying leak?
Thanks in advance.

Which one are you talking about?
The temp switch which reads out on your digital dash is on the block just above the oil filter.
The ones by the distributor are the oil pressure sender (for dash gauge) and the oil pressure switch (which will energize the fuel pump).

Re: Oil Temperature Switch Leak (JAKE)
It's the temp switch just above the oil filter. I'll try the pipe thread loc. Thanks for the help.

I've got this too, low on the block, pass side on my lt4. Can you specify which pipe thread sealant. There's a few.
Like plumbers epoxy that you knead together in your hands.
Or some you paint on with a brush.
There's stuff for pvc.
Just want to use the right one. Will it still come off if needed, after?
Sorry, just reread the post. A liquid made by Loctite - just says pipe or plumbing on it?
