hard starting
My 90 L98 is hard to start ya got to keep your foot on the gas pedal to start it. Also after it starts when you take your foot off the gas pedal it won't idle it stalls right away ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS GUYS :confused:

I would peobably look at Idle Air Control valve. Pressure on throttle opens the butterflies a little (or a lot) to let air in. This is a function normally handled by the Idle Air Control system.

Is the IAC adjustable or do you just have to buy a new one?
Chilton's is good, if they have pics, but Helms is better

my 84 has a prob starting too when it sits more then 2 days. it has the same prob you do so when it turns over i just give it a little gun and hold it about 15k and wait for it to run by it self works like a charm
