Antitheft system problem on 96 c4
my stock Security system seems to be flaking out. Have tried to cycle it with the keyfob to get the security light to start to flash again, but as of this weekend it's only working intermittently. The fob works for unlocking the doors and hatch when I press the button, so it's not that. The dash security light just is'nt flashing with regularity anymore. and when I turn off the ignition and open the door the stereo dosen't automatically turn off like it did... most likely the black switch on the edge of the driver door near the hatch release and tire info sticker ...its about a $5-10 switch and easy to replace

the little one that looks about 1/4" in diameter little pushbutton thing? that looks to be perm-depressed atm. Was'nt sure it that was a switch or some kind of spacer when I looked at the door today
