Stripped out treads?
One of my bolt holes for my power steering pump has striped itself out, I'm going to use Form-A-Thread to repair the problem. Has anyone else used this or have any suggestions on something better?

well.. i have always drilled it out put in the proper size Heli-coil.. this is better because it actually makes the hole stronger.. but the only hard part is that you probably might not have enough room.. if its on the block correct? :confused:

The stripped out tread on my rear tires comes from too much throttle. (sorry, I couldn't resist). But yeah, what he said, helicoils is the only way to go. :steering:

Make everything very clean and follow the directions carefully, you don't have much to lose and it stands a fairly good chance of working.
If you want to be sure and have access room and enough meat left to get a Heli-coil installed, that's better.
