I have 3.07's in mine now...... I would love to have the 3.45's or the 3.54's...... I know it will give my car that extra edge, and still be streetable......

Assuming both rear ends are the same model, 36 vs 44 the gears will interchange. It takes experience and special tools to "set" gears and should be left to a pro. I would guess it would cost $200.00 - $300.00 labor, AFTER you drop your rear end and take it to him as a bench job. Don't forget to swap the speedo gears. Good luck, and...

You can do the swap yourself, but as mentioned above, you really need to know how to set it up after you're done. Also I think Scorp did his and he needed a spreader to remove and install the gears into the housing.
A local guyhere charges $150 for a swap only, a little more if he has to remove the diff from the car.

Setting up the rear is about a one too four hour job, depending on how close the pattern and clearances are on first try. If you dont have bearing pullers and a hydraulic press and micrometers/dial indicators and know how to read contact patches...dont even think of trying it yourself, pay someone to do it.
