Default Anyone running Accel header plugs?

Summit #ACC-8198, $23.95 for set of 8.

I've been considering the AC Rapidfire #5's, possibly NGK TR-55 (although shorter lifespan).

Are the Accel units really good plugs? These have a U-groove. Performance? Supposedly these avoid dimpled headers, burned/melted plug boots & plug changeout difficulties due to their shorter length.

Or is a standard plug like the Rapidfires still the way to go, even with headers?

Any opinions, advice?

Also, I'm still wrestling with getting either Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro or MSD 8.5mm ignition wires

Bradvette,
The only reason I used the header plugs-they took care of the problem I had with #7 boot burning on the header. The plugs are OK but if NGK's will work, I would go with them.
You are paying for the plug being shorter, not necessarily a better plug.

Jim

:iagree:

Or go with the Rapidfire plugs if they will fit.
