Im in the stage where i cant afford to put alot of money into her for now... 78,000 miles... changed the oil/filter, did the coolant, Cleaned the K&N that came with the car...and it has an AIR foil, im now goin to look into the fuel system..(filter) so i was wondering what is the best way to tackle this job? ive heard some different ways.. from what it looks like i have to dissconnect the lines Pressure and return(what is the tool for that), take that little fastner off on the side of the engine bay and pull the lines with the filter on the end? or is there an easier way???? also im thinking injectors might be a good idea, i have no clue if there bad but can i have someones opinion, and im also thinking about cutting the LID, as ive heard it helps, the dam thing looks so restrictive, the only thing im worried about is water getting in.. is there anything else i can do to get her running even better and avoid problems that could come up?? car came with new water pump radiator and new Rear End assembly and some Brand new chrome 17in. Z06's wrapped in Eagle F1's.. and needs alignment THANKS FOR ANYONES OPINION :) :chevy
transmission fluid
closely inspect hydraulic clutch system (make sure reservoir is full)
As for the fuel filter, you shouldn't need any special tools. Doing a search in the C4 Tech archives should pop up various procedures... it's really straightforward. Good luck.
