Last week was the "run what you bring" day and I went to see if my vette is still ok and also to practice to lunch better with the tires I have . Last time I tryed my vette 1 year ago I got the best of :
RT--0.848
60'--2.033
MPH--99.51
ET--13.926
Now the best I did after 1 year was :
RT--0.941
60'--2.124
MPH--99.63
ET--13.961
The things I added this year was : air pump eliminator bracket , March underdrive crank pulley with power amp alternator pulley . The MPH seems to be the same but if I could manage the 60' of one year ago I could beat the 13.9 that I did this time , BTW here are some pics that my friend took while I was doing my runs .....
BTW thanks to pic 1 ,I realised that I had one of the bulbs in the 3rd brake light burnt :D
Re: [pics] Another day at the track !!! (marlon88)
You definitly need some sticky tires. I would think your car would be capable of 1.8x 60' times or better. That alone would probably get you to 13.4x or better :yesnod:

Ain't it fun... :D ...two things..doing a big, long burnout on street tires looks cool but, in fact, only serves to glaze the tires...this results in less traction and more spin...a quick dust off is all you need.... second, seat time alone will improve your times...race as much as you can over there..it's tough to improve your skills racing once a year... :D
