I ran AFR 210's on a 391 CID motor(4.030, 6" rods, 3.875 crank)
my comments are more directed toward what I felt in the car than toward my ET and MPH. The motor breathed really well! So well, that my first pass with the above mentioned combo, the RPM's came up so fast, it caught me off gaurd. Watched the tree, launched, kept my eye on the car's trajectory, then glance down to the tach to "wait" for the needle to get to 5K RPM so I could shift. Surprise! It was around 6500 RPM. It was so smooth and quick! One run, I decided to run it out in 3rd. No problemo! The ET and MPH were roughly the sameballpark as when I go to 4th gear.
So,
on that day, the DA was around 6000ft(!!!) 103*
1.80 60ft.
12.80 ET
109.XX MPH
Keep in mind I have a 6 speed car, so I shift. The rear gear is 3:33, no tune on the chip(was way off) and the intake was a holley stealthram.
