cup holder cover/door

cup holder cover/door
new to the forum...how do I get the cover/door off of the cup holder (90). I have painted a new one but the old one looks like it will break easily. Thanks in advance for any hints

You have to remove the shifter console plate. Once you have that off, take a toothpick(or similar instrument) and push the pin through and the clip(or whatever you want to call it) will slide out. You'll see what I mean once you get the shifter plate off.
