Anderson Cheverolet of Cupertino CA (so. bay sf) got a 1990 ZR1 Red/tan in recently with Chrome ZR1's (315 rear) Beautiful car!!! 90,744 miles and clean i started it up and it was a little sluggish but its a clean car.. also i realized my rear tires (Eagle F1's 285's) are wearing out so im looking into some new rear tires?? good overall performance i guess... possibly DR's how are the GS-C's? thanks! :chevy
GSC's are horrid!! stay away from them. Try some michellen pilots, or some nittos, try a search for tire, the link is in the column on the left 7th one down
Do you want to buy the ZR1 or the Tires
:flag
BOTH!! haha but ill only end up with the tires! i was just lettin everyone know.. i had to share the story... but im really just trying to get some opinions on tires for the rear! thanks
So if we understand you correctly you were just looking at the ZR1 and realized your Non ZR1 needs new rear tires...
Well then I would agree from my personal experience and with the others to stay away from the GoodYear GSC's. I have the Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP and they seem to be a good all around reasonabily priced tire. Good traction in the wet as well as real good dry. Last a lot longer than the Goodyears I used before. Good Luck ! :auto:

Re: ZR1 (CORVETTE GURU)
good overall performance i guess... possibly DR's how are the GS-C's? thanks! :chevy
If I understand this post correctly, you are considering drag radials, hoping they will give you good "overall" performance.
They are a very specialized tire, guru, and you will be disappointed in their street performance.
i was puttiing a few different ideas down, im aware of the characteristics of DR's, and i know some levels of different street tires.. all i was trying to get was different opinions from people who know corvettes... when i say good overall performance i meant in its category does this clear things up with everyone who was confused on the post? :chevy
