I have read your threads in tech and parts. If you want to test the calpak, remove the prom and try to start the car with the calpak. If the calpak is good it will start. Your scanning software could be giving you a false error code.
Another thing to look at: Check all your fuses. If one of the ecm/injector fuses is blown, you could get this error. It happened to me. Let us know.
If you need a rebuilt ecm with prom and calpak, let me know because I'll sell you mine. I converted to the 165 ecm and don't need the 870 anymore.
