Remove the bolts on the frisbee, which is bolted on the front of your Water Pump. You should get back about 10hp. (i think there are 4 bolts)

TB Bypass, is just that, you disconnect the coolant lines going into and out of the TB and mate them. Or just buy some 5/8" heater hose and reroute it altogether. It frees up a couple hp, definitely not something youre going to feel. Whether its worth it or not is up to you.

Removing the frisbee is easy. Check the article in "Tech Tip" link in the "Tools" button at the top of this page. You can gain alittle HP, but it's more in your head than the seat of your pants!!

The TB bypass is basically useless on your car. I wouldn't waste my time with it.
Good Luck.

Removing my "frisbee" gained 1mph in trap speed or about 10chp.

My "frisbee" was held to the water pump flange with 4 studs; I removed the studs and attached the water pump pulley with 4 bolts & lock washers.

One benefit of the TB coolant bypass is that it cleans up the TB and makes service easier. It also reduces heating of the TB and allows it to cool quicker when the engine is shut off.
