Does anyone know where you can have the dents taken out of L98 intake tubes. I have heard of a process to pull a ball through the tubes to remove small dents. It can also enlarge the tubes slightly so I would like to do this instead of just replace them.

That sounds like an interesting idea, lots of guys have dinged runners. You can't push the ball all the way through the runners, because it has dents cast into it to allow clearance around the bolt holes.
I don't know about it enlarging the tubes. I'd expect the aluminum to crack before that ever happened. Remember, you're dealing with cast aluminum, not DOM.
A friend sent me his old stock runners to play with my porting technique. When they arrived they did have dents.
I just pushed the dents out with a screwdriver handle from the inside and the large ones with a broom handle. The hard part was the indents for the Torx-head screws.
Once the dents were out as best I could get them, a bodyman's file made the tubes smooth enough to primer and paint epoxy gloss black.
Thanks for the reply, I will try the music shop and if I have some success I will post it
The broom handle is a good idea but it is just past where I can reach with the end well.
I was going to try to make something to push inside but I am afraid it wont come out as smooth as I want.
Thank for the input
