90 Master Cylinder Problem
About 6 months ago I noticed that brake fluid is migrating from the front reservoir to the rear. Does it slowly but steadily, about 1/4" every 2500 miles. Winter's here so its time for bigger maintenance projects.
Anyone seen this? Is it time for a rebuild? Any recommendations on where I should go to get a complete rebuild kit?

You'll probably have to replace it eventually. It wouldn't hurt to try a rebuild kit, if it's a slow leak like you say, it might do the trick. You definitely don't want to be driving if it's bad. You'll have reduced or no brake pressure up front.
Don't try to rehone the cylinder either, it can't really be done with aluminum, its too soft.

Mine showed the same symptoms. I decided to replace it with a new master cylinder rather than spending the time and effort to rebuild. Hate to take any chances with my brakes.

Try to get a rbuilt cylinder with the reservoirs already installed. They are dfficult to remove from the old cylinder and install on the new one. GM suggests special tools for the job.
